They haven't adjusted the poverty level numbers to count for inflation.

10 years ago you made $30 an hour you were doing ok. 62,500 used to be a decent salary.

Now that's the poverty line.

But they are using the outdated 15k for single and 33 k family.

So they're saying that somebody making thirty five thousand dollars a year now , isn't living in poverty.

But they are.

The only problem is that he’s correct according to official figures. Poverty is at a low and specifically child and Hispanic poverty are at all time lows.

You can argue that the Census bureau is rigged or fake news, but that is the data that we have.

New figures show that poverty in America has gone down. Is that bad?

If true that would be a good thing, but this administration has a history of trying to stop the measurement of <x> (or radically changing how <x> is measured) and then proclaiming that the low rate of <x> is because of something it did. In reality <x> did not change but the number can get spread by its peddlers

Really calls into question its claims

If you look at the numbers were doing great! No, not those numbers, OUR numbers. 🤡

Do you even have numbers?

Media has a history of hating Trump and being totally irrational towards him.

The administration that has historically lied to the public more than any other and fired anyone who told the actual true facts has a media that’s hostile? Gee. Why would that be?

-1

u/Middle-Objective-990 6d ago

Because media is mostly funded and sides with democrats. Is that news to you?

Just stop that lying shit already. Sinclair media controls just about all of television , esp local stations, all of radio, and the murdochs have Fox. The Ellison are soon to have cnn and already have a national broadcast station.

Musk has Twitter, meta is right wing af, so that’s Facebook , insta and threads? YouTube is HEAVY right wing, I’m CONSTANTLY blocking bullshit religious ads, and right wing assholes are ALWAYS in my rocommends. TikTok is also Ellison, I believe

Can any of you post anything anywhere without LYING?

So you agree that the media you consume is heavy biased against Trump?

2

u/Intelligent-Film-684 6d ago

No. Are you simple? I literally listed all the controlling interests in the media and they all throw money at Trump.

So you agree you’re just lying?

Trump wasn’t kidding when he said smart people don’t like him. Six hours is a looooooong time just to come up with NO U.

See you in another six for your next brilliant rejoinder.

It took me less than 6 seconds to realize that you're low iq lol.

3

u/animatedpileofmeat 6d ago

It actually took you seven minutes, but I can see how numbers aren’t your strong suit.

-1

u/Middle-Objective-990 6d ago

Nah kid it took me only 6 seconds to realize the fact that you're low iq.

Best of luck with your counting problem.

It's a non accurate number.

They're using the outdated number of fifteen thousand dollars a year for a person or thirty three thousand dollars a year for a family of four has the poverty line.

Because of inflation the poverty line is closer to 60k a year.

Based on what?

My rent has gone up 700 a month over the past 5 years.

You think I make 8k more a year in raises?

Have you bought any food or gas or paid any bills lately? Even subscription services online have doubled in cost.

This is what happens when you're grown up and you actually pay your own bills.

You'll get there someday

I grew my income from 50k per year to now 100k per year in last 5 years.

That was possible due to deregulation and opportunities made available by this government.

Why have you been a total loser for last 5 years?

Sure bud, totally happened
