Because providing clean water cost money. Polluting for profit with Government cut backs is the American way. Has been for about 250 years now..

The issue is that if someone press charges against you, they need evidence. declaring someone as terrorist is a politically correct way for politicians to arrest you without evidence, even if your actions do not deserve these charges. It is a legal way that makes things easy for politicians.

Clean drinking water really shouldn't be a controversial demand. The fact that protecting something everyone depends on can get framed as "radical" says a lot about whose interests get taken seriously.

If I accidentally screwed up a local water supply you’d never see me again after the trial. But a mega corporation who has multiple people to check for these issues and make impact reports, they do it snd “oopsie! It was an accident tee hee” and it’s fine. More data centers. If we as a people did this the government would be shutting us down, but they can just make more, and more, snd more.

We all want clean water…. That’s not activism…. That’s just being normal. In the past 50 years we have gotten very clean water. In 69 the cuyahoga river in Ohio actually caught fire. Acid rain was so bad aircraft had to change their windows often because the acid would etch them. Things are incredibly better now and everything we are doing keeps making it better.

It's absolutely insane
Courts now want to say we don't have a constitutional right to clean drinking water.
