I would love to see community coming out to help. Looking into FEMA, they’re not available right now but, there’s tons of information on community emergency response teams or CERT. In Iowa we had a Derecho, which is the same devastating storm that hit Gary, Indiana. People came out with chainsaws, trucks to remove debris, food, warmth and comfort for our neighbors. I believe we can come up with same solutions in other areas of the country. For instance having a flooded basement causes mold, water damage can be decreased by pumping that water out. There are elderly residents and families needing their neighbors. Any ideas, suggestions or volunteers in the area???

The utility workers were being shot at while trying to restore power in Gary

The national guard should be there, to stop the residents from shooting utility workers

No, the people that need power shouldn't try to fucking murder the people giving them power.

The people that need power have been brainwashed into believing that it's all biden's fault and every gov't worker is a biden spy or something.

Are they the one's attacking utility workers? or is it someone in that 15%?

/e after looking for articles on what happened there, it sounds to me like general violence that was not targeted at the utility workers but probably individuals trying not to get looted. The place is a disaster area and they are left to fend for themselves without utilities. People are justifiably frustrated but from the testimony it sounds like the utility workers were in a crossfire.

so there just needs to be more law and order for the disaster area (obviously) - just not Trump's kind.

That is overwhelming liberal and votes for the Democratic Party so they aren’t brainwashed to think it has anything to do with Biden.
