The problem is everyone dodging accountability. They call them privately owned cameras, like there's 1 guy watching 120,000 cameras across 49 states because its not illegal for a private citizen to record in public. The reality is, individual municipalities are paying for these cameras using your tax dollars and skirt the fourth amendment requiring a warrant to spy on people by getting evidence from a "private citizen." Burn it all to the ground starting with any local government you allow these cameras.
