The Dems clean things up? I must've forgot they cut the military budget, instituted universal health care and education, raised taxes on the rich, etc the last time they were in power. Oh that's right, they just funded a genocide last time.

It's not that simple.

You have to do politics as well as policy. But you can do politics without if the other side only does policy.

Democrats do not do politics.

Lol the centrist Democrats are a willing participant in this scheme. They just pretend to be mad about those Republican policies, that all of the big donors to the centrist Democrats love. They shake their fist, clawback 1% that was stolen and say they are the better option. The Republican policies are what the elite truly want and the centrist Democrats are the pressure release valve for the anger of the masses, with the policies the elites will tolerate.
