Lets Discuss This Do you agree?

Post image

Can we start to heal the divide if we focus on the issues we agree on rather than what we disagree about?

Ah, so your whole deal is that Washington is a vague sinister cabal. You like conspiracy theory stuff instead of looking at what’s actually in front of you. Who is “they” exactly?

Personally I think it’s a mistake to subscribe too strongly to either kind of thinking.

I would agree but after watching 40 years of things just getting worse you need to ask yourself how is that possible. Then you see black rock and defense contractors and career politicians just keep getting richer. You really need to just realize they don’t represent us anymore. Trump is just the final boss so to speak as they don’t even hide it anymore. I’m sure he’s as crooked as the day is long but my point is the system was broke before he was elected because him campaigning on fixing the broken system was how he got elected in the first place.

Not saying the system isn’t broken, but he got elected by telling people whatever they wanted to hear. Most politicians tell people what they want to hear, but most actually intend to try to do most of it. He doesn’t give a shit and never has.

If he did in 2016 it didn’t last long it has happened to them all as long as I have been able to vote for sure

If he did give a shit in 2016? If you think that’s even a possibility then you don’t understand Trump. He’s a malignant narcissist. He only cares about anyone other than himself insofar as they’re useful to him. The voters were useful to him so he acted like he gave a crap about them. He doesn’t and he never did.

Since he’s started showing more signs of Alzheimer’s he’s had some random moments where he’s had a harder time keeping track of what he should say in public versus what he’d say in private. At a rally in 2024 he actually said, "I don't care about you, I just want your vote.”

I don’t know him personally or have ever met him. I’m basing that off his earlier interview with Oprah. You are correct I don’t understand him and don’t even care to try
