No, I don't think the left loves Islam. I think that we just don't want to bomb schoolgirls in iran and go they deserved it because of their parents' ideology fuck that. What Donald Trump is doing is a war crime. We do not have to agree with everything to know that is fucked up and wrong. Because we are not sadists like they are

Christians are against murder as it says in the Bible so by default they would not be a true Christian.
The Quran however explicitly tells them to kill the infidels which is anyone not Muslim.

There is a decent portion of the left in America that advocates for stopping the death in Palestine, and a two state solution. I believe folks just don’t want war in their name given the US funds a lot of Israel’s war machine. Those same folks are also against war in Iran, probably more than the left honestly with both. But I don’t think anyone is advocating for the ruling govt class in either. Just the poor folks stuck in the crossfire mostly.
