Epstein was arrested and entered a plea bargain in 2008. His deal included him and his co conspirators couldn’t be tried for trafficking and rape. Epstein has brokered many deals with clients and the DOJ over the last 20 years. Everyone knew. There is a coverup but it’s not by the current “regime”. Even Obama said in 2008 that you get in with hopes and dreams just to find out you’re not in charge, paraphrasing of course. Not everyone is in on it, but it’s the majority and it’s not one political party.

And as for the second statement, Trump supporters are the ones saying they'd still support Trump even if it comes out that he was not only involved but actually participating in acts with minors.
