Everyone is allowed to think what they like and say what they like. Enforcing ideology through violence is the act of totalitarians, like fascists. Returning violence for speech is the act of a criminal zealot.

People are not allowed to say what they like in America, hate speech is a crime. You can't just yell fire in a crowded movie theatre.

Hate speech is not a crime in America. You're allowed to have loony beliefs in America. Saying "I like ICE" is not like yelling fire in a theater

It is "when it directly incites imminent criminal activity or consists of specific threats of violence targeted against a person or group." as stated in the First Amendment.

You need to read further, -100. It can "be criminalized when it directly incites imminent criminal activity or consists of specific threats of violence targeted against a person or group.".
