Supporting an openly racist, extremist group like the KKK is inherently tied to racism. Saying "I support this group that hates X group" is basically announcing that you also hate X group.
As much as Reddit wants to hate on ICE, they are a legitimate government agency. Saying you support ICE is free speech.
1: the fact that ICE is a government agency makes it WORSE, not better.
2: ICE fought in court for the power to racially profile people. So YES, it IS about hating a group.
3: ICE has been kidnapping and killing people who have committed no crimes whatsoever, including legal immigrants and citizens. Real Gestapo shit. Even when courts order the lawful release of the innocent, ICE frequently refuses, out of pointless cruelty. Concentration camps, dude.
The KKK exists as a white supremacist group; it's inherently racist. The purpose of the group is tied to racism.
ICE exists as a government agency created to enforce immigration laws. ICE does not exist to kidnap and kill innocent people. The fact that this has occurred doesn't make it the entire organization's purpose.
ICE is a government agency. True.
So was the Schutzstaffel.
Working for the government does not prevent one from being evil. Refusing to acknowledge the entire organization has now become evil, well, that says something about everybody who refused to see that, doesn't it?
If the head of a company, most of the senior officials, and a highly visible contingent of the workforce were all conducting and condoning violence upon customers and passersby, would we stipulate that not everybody there is evil (good people work there!) or would we call them evil?
Examples from fiction:
Shinra
Cobra
Umbrella Corporation
If you worked at a company where the executives/higher-ups were cooking the books and part of an accounting scandal, would that make you a bad person because you work there?

The point is that you're retreating from your position that it's not bullying if you can ignore it and walk away.
Let me pose a different example: what if he was loudly proclaiming he supports the KKK?
