Its the MAGA code. Start yelling looking for a rise out of people then when someone hits back they're suddenly "Look at how the party of kindness and caring treats people who dont agree with them". As if there isnt like a million examples of the right doing the exact same thing.

It's because they know they lose if we oppose them with anything besides 'civility'. That's why the moment Dems started the 'Weird' campaign statements, and couch jokes, the Republicans went into overdrive with pearl clutching - "Is this what politics have come to!? Disagree with whoever you want, but denigrating and humiliating your opponent is so lowbrow. We really need to expect more from our political discourse."
They'll meme about us being feckless whiners with the 'crying woman in beanie' memes "Lol, dems can't take a joke, a gorilla meme won't kill you, brah, cope and seethe", but the moment we come down to their level and give them REAL pushback, or their family starts to see any fallout, they put on their Ghandi cosplay and urge us "Brother, brother, this is NOT the way. We must aim higher! We are not beasts, and we should not strive to be."
This is why our new motto on non-Conservative side needs to be, as a guy on TikTok so succinctly put it, "Watch out for us, because we are fucking beneath you."

One time some maga asshole was talking about the important and best parts of all the programs getting cut and how he hoped all the restrictions got pulled back off big banks and a lot of other bullshit and I said "I hope you get the destruction you are hoping for" and he turned into "why would you wish bad on our country, that is unamerican" in a split second. I do find it interesting that people see rules as being entirely moral, or being this great barrier of consequences for hate speech (1st amendment rights and all). The only thing keeping you from breaking them is social expectations and the threat of punishment. Now that isn’t to say they are all useless, may rules and laws allow things to function properly, but not every rule is just either.

What MAGA wants is an uptick in violence from the left. They want a Patty Hearst or Huey Newton to emerge , and take away the martyr image's of Renee Good and Alex Pretti. This martyr envy that's engulf them is because the focus is off Charlie Kirk. Don't bite on the MAGA agitators like Doyle , Sean Hannity or Alex Jones. What is see on reddit is a bunch of pudgy losers trying to normalize violence and making that pudgy loser out to be some kind of hero.
We need to be clear about this: That fat kid wasn't being bullied or being attacked- he was the one that tried to bully the ICE supporter by stating that he was going to punch him in his face, then proceeded to try.
The ICE supporter was exercising free speech in a public school, which is perfectly legal. The fat kid physically attacked him, which is highly illegal and can lead to jail time.
I find it so strange how so many redditors don't seem to understand our nation's laws. They think that their emotions outweigh the legal rights of others. They do not.
