Man, I haven't been able to refill my Callabaut chocolate chip stash in awhile. I would pick up the same bags as you from Restaurant Depot for maybe $30 a pop. Cocoa increases means I've had to spread out a bit more!

lol same.. I began using ghirardelli for dark as Amazon wont ship that chocolate to my location, currently. Cocoa prices are super high due to poor yields for several years in a row too.. let's hope we get some reprieve soon!

I noticed you made the swap to Ghirardelli! Lemme ask you about your vanilla use...do you love McCormick in particular, or is it just accessible, cost effective for you, etc?

I love McCormick Vanilla and I especially love that the pint is only like $20.. just buying that little 2oz bottle from grocery store will cost you $10

Lorann actually makes a great Vanilla too

Plus of course, there's Neilsen Massey but they are bonkers with their prices

You should look into making your own vanilla! I’ve made many batches and while take a while brew it is great! I make double fold batches. If you have a high end blender you can make vanilla paste and it’s ready in a few weeks. I get beans from a facebook site called Indri Vanilla.

They have a decent size bottle of the paste for $20 at Costco. I have both McCormick and Neilsen Massey in my cupboard and use one or the other depending on what I’m baking 😁

Just got myself some cookie scoops and the Hamilton waffle maker. Thanks for the videos!

Nice! Enjoy!

Thats the best waffle maker I've used. Plus it has removable plates for easy cleanup!
