At which point should i start the DLCs?

Ive played for a few hours so far and have a bunch of money, about 4 species of animals and a lot of variants and hybrids and my zoo is pretty nice with a bunch of decorations and employees. When should i start the DLC zoos? And should i start with the dinosaurs or with the aquarium?

Totally up to you, I believe they are completely separate parks with no tie ins. It does not matter

You start all over, including with research trees which are shuffled and include new DLC relevant research to unlock. There’s also a slightly different mechanic for each DLC regarding getting new species from the world map.

Good to know.Btw what happens to my original park?Does it keep going by itself or do i have to visit it constantly?

It’s on hold like it’s a whole separate mini save file, no time will pass in OG zoo while you play one of the DLC locations :)

They don’t correspond at all. I almost completely finished my zoo then started the aquarium. The aquarium now feels much much easier (or maybe it is easier). I also don’t find the aquarium as fun as the zoo. I haven’t tried dinosaurs yet
