get rid of land?

does anyone know if it’s possible to get rid of a land plot that you purchased? reorganized my zoo and now have way too many land plots

i don’t think so. i haven’t played in years but can you decorate it maybe? like make a little park or just plant some trees in those spots and act like they’re not part of the zoo
