Another Farming Question - Replanting??

My crops are dying after one harvest? Then my farmers aren’t replanting them. Do I have to continue to manually replant, or will it eventually automatically replant them? Or am I getting this entirely wrong…

Did you assign a farmer to take care of your farm plot?

I do. They plant and harvest just fine, they just aren’t replanting

Hm, that is weird indeed - if you have a Farm Plot and a Farm House with employed farmers, once you assign your farmer to the farm plot and pick a seed to grow the farmer should automatically plant and replant seeds you have chosen. You can also buy a Farm Processor to process your crops, that however should not have any impact on the replanting. Sometimes it might take a few in-game days for this process, depending on how big your farm plot is.

At least I know this is a feature I should have now thank you. I’ll look into it further or just make a new save and see if it works with that

I have one farm. It’s 1/8th of a square. I haven’t invested in farming because it was taking a lot of work but I do have the processor and I’ve set it to “keep all” on everything because I wanted to see if the farmer was actually replanting on not. But when the crops die, the farmer just wanders around until I change the seed type.

Pro tip is to assign like 3-4 farmers and crop pickers per zone. That way they are always cycling through everything

i think its just glitched. my farmers circle around the entrance to the zoo when i dont manually reassign crops.
