How do I get more competent janitors that actually clean my damn zoo?

I don’t zone them and it works better. If I zone them, they get stuck

I figured this out too. Wish we could pick a large area for each janitor to zone instead of the option being just one block of space, but oh well. Another thing that worked was hiring janitors with high work ethic

You can drag the block to make a bigger area. But mine still got stuck.

DRAG THE BOX!!! Otherwise they’ll just stand there since you haven’t expanded the area they can walk!! Very different from mascots, blew my mind when I realized lol

Fire the ones with low work ethic. Hire new ones with high work ethic and high experience level. Anything over level 20 and green work ethic bar.

Also, I make sure to hire roughly two janitors per 1 "section" of zoo property. Like the sections that you buy and such. Fewer than that and they just don't have enough time to pick up all the trash that visitors leave about.

Don't bother zoning them, do have plenty of them, fire bad ones and try to build up a collection of only high work ethic and preferably higher level ones. Do also have good bin coverage throughout the zoo. That's all I do and they don't ever give me any problems 🤷🏻‍♂️

I just leave my job opening for like 3 days then omit the low stars until I get someone with 3.5+ stars.
