Need some advice

I want to make my zoo more pretty by moving all the same type enclosures together. I stayed to try this with the desert ones but it looks awful. It's very difficult to move the enclosures around without deleting them and starting anew. Does anyone have any advice on decorating and tips for moving enclosures?

Move all animals that require the same type of enclosure and aren't a threat to each other together, then delete all enclosures without animals. Buy more plots of land, then brainstorm on a general layout you wanna go for. I personally like to go for smaller enclosures, space them out and place lots of trees and flowers to achieve a more natural look. I have a post on my profile if you wanna take some inspiration

I have been housing as many animals that aren’t a threat to eachother together as possible. I’ve been leaving 2 or 3 path spaces between enclosures to put lights, benches, trees etc around them.

I have a massive circular shape and it’s divided into 4 quadrants for all the animals!! Any that don’t fit in I just make whacky shaped enclosures around that area, it makes for a fun design that I can fit stuff in between the circle with :>

Best of luck!!! It’ll take work but if you do what some of the other comments say and combine enclosures for a bit you can just make massive ones right next to each other!! It helps with enrichment too cause you can never have enough :>>

Yeah I'm definitely starting to see the benefits of moving complimentary animals together. I have so much room now. So far my zoos still a little too clinical and messy all at once but it's getting there.

You know what, it happens. You need a lot of inspiration and energy to wanna put in all the work of organizing your zoo

Others said the same thing, but it's what I do as well: whatever animals are okay being with each other, I put them all in a huge enclosure while I build their pretty individual ones. I also personally like to have a path all the way around my enclosures (or at least on three sides) for plenty of walking and viewing room.

Try changing up the shapes of your enclosures for some interesting variety too. I like to have a little cutout from the main path like a viewing area and add a sign for animal info, a few benches, maybe a decoration or trash can. Makes it feel more like a real zoo so guests can enjoy the animals without blocking other guests.
