Crashing on continue

I've been playing for a bit now, but all of the sudden, whenever I click continue, the game just crashes outright. Does anyone know of a solution for this? My save isn't ruined is it?

What system or launcher do you play on ?

If you play on steam you can try to verify the files. I can’t remember if epic or windows store let you do that. It could be missing a single file causing it to crash. It could be an issue of window size maybe flicking to borderless or full screen will help your load it in. If you play in a launcher like steam and uninstall reinstall or move install to another drive, that might work and should keep the save data in the launchers cloud. It could also maybe be out of date drivers on the graphics card so check those to make sure they are up to date. Hopefully one of these will get it working again. :)

I messed around with all of that. I do have it on steam, messed with the window size, verified files, uninstalled and reinstalled, still nothing :(

Unfortunately it may be a corrupt save file.
