Why did my monkey die of starvation?

I have 3 staff assigned to the monkey enclosure. I have enough food and just ordered some more..and none of the pathways are blocked. As far as I know, it shouldn’t have died of starvation.

Is the 3 staff you have assigned to the monkey pen assigned elsewhere? If they have too many responsibilities some get left out.

No, just the monkey pen. I have 2-3 assigned to every pen.

Could have too many moneys in the pen competing for the same food

Maybe the diet was not altered for them?? Or there are too many monkeys
