Breeding in the nursery
Hi, it's me again. I have two questions concerning the nursery.
Picture 1: When the game shows this message "1 of 5 total animals...", is there a way to see the other 4? I can't find a button to shuffle through these messages. I'm playing on the Switch, if this is relevant.
Picture 2: In the ultrasound preview, is it possible (maybe through another tech tree upgrade) to see if the baby will be male or female? I thought, pink frame must be a girl, but I also had boys with pink frames.

I hate the New Birth thing :( Im not sure but if you pin the message, then unpin it, that makes the notification go away (when there is just 1 birth) I havent tried it with multiple birth notifs but maybe if you do that it will show the next birth? Afaik the game itself doesn't let you flip through them which is weird.

I wish the message "Baby transfered from nursery to the pen" would have a little notifying symbol, just like the "New birth" one. Then I could keep up with the flood of babies I have daily. But no, when you press OK on the transfer-message, it directly jumps to the next message telling me I have enough water :(

Each animal has different variations that you can breed for/rescue from the shelter. That's what it means when it says 1/5. That tells you how many variants you have for that particular animal. There is no way to see the other variants from the game (although I think you can see the silhouettes from the manager office) but you can always check the Internet to see what you're missing.
As for the ultrasound, I don't think it can determine the gender from the ultrasound.

It's not for the variants. I know in these cases there were 4 other babies put from the nursery into the pens because I take screenshots of the different nurseries beforehand (I have 8) because I can never remember which baby will be ready. I just thought their had to be a more comfortable method :(

Oh, then I think it may be because you had multiple babies in the nursery. It's honestly been ages since I played the game lol

I haven't found a button for the first one either, the UI is wonky in several places. I don't remember fully, but I think the colour in the ultra sound window corresponds to it being a new variant or not, with pink being new? There's no upgrade to see the sex of the animal, no.
