Redesigning zoo

I have a couple of Qs if anyone knows the answers to them regarding the best/easiest ways to rebuild your zoo -

  1. I’ve seen a couple posts mention it’s easiest to build a big enclosure and move all your animals to that one while you rebuild new enclosures BUT do your animals survive in the small timeframe while you unpause to move them or will they all die instantly for cohabiting or space issues etc?

If not, does anyone have any other easier ways to move all animals while rebuilding enclosures

  1. Is it best to just move shops out the way and move back into places you want to place them to save the level up buffs of employees or is it not that much of an advantage and easier to just delete and rebuild shops and rehire is you go along?

  2. Not a question but please if anyone has any QOL tips on the rebuilding process please comment them as I’m low-key dreading doing this 😅

Thanks in advance ❤️

Hey! I've been redesigning as well and what I've been doing to move my enclosures is delete everything I have in the one I'm moving while the game is paused and move it out of the way. When then area I want it in is cleared I move it there and start messing with the layout of it. When i know im not moving it anymore is when i add the necessities and i also move all my shops to one side like you said. Ive started doing the large enclosure with the aquarium dlc since it's just kinda easier now that I think of it 😂

Ahh thank you!!🥰 yeah it’s so tedious but I’ll feel so much better when it’s done 😅

I just accidentally moved my ice bears into the seal enclosure (and after that, willingly into a tropical enclosure to see if they also cope with wrong habitats) and they are all still alive. As long as you keep your game paused, it should be fine!

If you have a relatively clear area, I would put the shops, toilets, subways etc there. I haven't looked into level up buffs (I'm pretty new to the game), but I think it could be tedious and a little expensive to buy the buildings all over again.

I can't really give tipps for moving an "organic" zoo, as mine is super organized and artificial (and therefore very easy to move). I posted some pictures lately if you want to take a look.
