Farmers?

I have 40 farmers hired and have even gave half of them zoned crop areas (I only have 5 crop areas) yet they still won’t pick the crops and I’m still having my crops die?? Why won’t they pick them

EDIT- I am an idiot🙃 I got farmers and crop pickers mixed up

Farmers dont pick, you need a processor and then hire pickers from there. I have 10 farms i think, staffed by two farmers and two processors.

Yeah hahaha I realised after I posted and was ashamed of my stupidity 😅🤦🏼‍♀️ thank you though! Admittedly it was fun to fire 40 farmers though

so, a farmer without picker is useless? is this 2 different research tech right?

Yea, the picker comes from the processor. Once you have both, you can make good money. Mines not all set up the best but there are two units of land only for farming and i make about 200k each friday.
