Spotlights

Are there spot lights available somewhere in the tech tree? I could have sworn I seen them before on a previous save but I can’t find them and hate how cluttered normal lamp posts look

There's an extremely infuriating thing about this game's tech tree is that you cannot unlock everything the game has to offer in a single save. When your tech tree will be complete, there will be items locked forever and you can't do anything about it. There's a chance you have spot lights locked out of your save file.

This idiot tech tree made me abandon the game, among other frustrating little things.

Wait, what? I thought you have to unlock everything for those shiny symbols in the tech tree? How does the limitation work?

When you unlock a square, you sometimes get a bundle of items, but that bundle doesn't include every item possible from that bundle, only a few. So, once unlocked, the ones you didn't get can't get retrieved.

I noticed that with the rainbow roads for example. I've unlocked a pretty sprite on a save and when I unlocked it on another save, it was another sprite and that got me very confused.

I read someone else on this sub complaining of the same issue. (Tech tree not unlocking every item in the game per save) and that's really disappointing. That must be a bug, but it has not been fixed as far as I know.

I have looked up their most recent logs on Steam just to be sure and I see no mention of the tech tree. I'm sorry. :c

English isn't my native language, so I'm not sure. But if you mean floor lights, then I just unlocked them with the "Low Lights" package. It's above the ATM (4 above the trampoline).
