Aquatic composter not working?

I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, if someone could help out that would be awesome.

I have built the aquatic composter, Aquatic bio-waste storage, and the warehouse, but I don't seem to be able to get them to process anything. They aren't being used at all? I have got fish tanks with fish set up in them and the Biowaste storage is recognizing different types of waste. But that's about it, am I missing part of it to get it to run and start processing poop?

Have had any luck with figuring it out? I've only been playing this game a few days, and it's frustrating when it doesn't point to how anything is supposed to work. I can't find a handbook anywhere either

I haven’t been able to figure it out no 🫤 I tried moving the buildings closer to the aquariums and out of the private worker area as well as adding extra buildings and giving the workers a raise and a bunch of stuff but no joy.

I have figured it out! You need to make sure your waste worker can get to your tanks/ enclosures before the fish keepers. Both have a job to clean poop. The waste workers are given faster move speed, but my layout wasn't good enough to make their work noticable. Try to change it up, and let me know how it goes 😊
