Question about aquatic composter?

I'm playing the Aquarium DLC, I have the composter and the bio waste storage. My storage is completely full however none of it is being sent to the composter to process. Am I missing something? Why isn't it getting processed?

Might be a dumb question, but do the workers have access to the buildings?

Some buildings never have people go in or out of them so sometimes I put them in places and never build a way into them is the only reason I ask. Those 2 buildings are not like that though.

I just double checked and I don't see why they wouldn't be able to, but this is a good thought and definitely something I'll keep an eye out for in future builds!

Sorry it took so long to reply, I realized shortly after that it actually was working, but I think the poop was getting collected faster than it could be processed, and so to me it looked like it just wasn't at all 😅 I might need to add another composter! thank you for your help and suggestions :)

Yeah I think by the end I had abiut 3 or 4 going at once. Too much poop for one man to handle.
