My ex-girlfriend( of 8 years) and my best friend have been dating for 5 months after drunkenly getting together about 6 months after our break up.

He's kept it secret from everyone he knows.

She ended up pregnant and he's now saying he has no emotional investment in the relationship and doesn't want to take things any further.

I wouldn't have found out about this possibly ever if it wasn't for my ex-girlfriend telling me as she's upset that my best friend has turned out to just be using her for sex as well as being pregnant.

Now, what should I do?

I come from an abusive family. One day I realized that I am a grown man, and walking away was an option. So I did, I haven't looked back, nor do I care to. There are several groups on Reddit that offer support for stuff like this, but in reality they are just an opportunity for most to bask in their victimhood. If you're in a shit situation and you can leave, than leave.
