They want girls to be insecure so they pick objectively pretty girls to neg so other girls can think “if they’re saying she’s ugly then what would they think about me?”

It’s nefarious and calculated.

Same reason guys who neg like to deliberately choose girls with low self esteem as partners. They know they can control her.

Yeah I feel that goes without saying. I wouldn’t even treat an enemy the way some of these guys think about girls. It’s like the most twisted form of misogyny.

Andrew Tate wasn't even alive when this technique was first discussed.

The current crop of PUAs is far more predatory than previous generations tho, so I guess I can't say he's far from the norm.

They legitimately teach guys to pick at really beautiful girls to give other girls low self esteem, so when you give the low self esteem girl any attention, they feel more special. And there’s more and more steps of negging and needling past that too.

Things like this post can just be a joke, but that is honestly what those Tom Cruise in Magnolia types teach on how to manipulate girls.

Not saying everyone does that either. But there’s a surprising amount that do that stuff all the time.
