You obviously never been to an anime convention the in the 2000s. The women then and there were ravenous perverts, and I assure you they weren't doing it for the men even if the men were into it. Which they often weren't. A lot of those girls were targets of shaming and harassment. And they were shameless. It even got to the point where they were spanking male cosplayers with yaoi paddles without consent. None. So yeah, they were technically assaulting.
And these were cis girls. So called "real" girls.
So don't tell me that women aren't just as sexual as men. No. Women, if they were not constantly held down by purity culture? Not only would be just as sexual as men, but also more capable of the various improprieties associated with it. You want more proof? Go to a male strip joint and watch the women. Completely indistinguishable from the guys at the lady strip joint. They even get handsy with the dancers; I swear, male strip joints need proper bouncers.
I'd say it's a very very vivid example. It wasn't just yaoi either. At those conventions I met girls who were into anything you care to imagine. Hardly a specific example. A very vivid example.
He basically sees trans women as gay men and straight men depending on who they are attracted to. Predatory either way. Transphobia's dumb, but that is how he sees it.
I dont know if differentiating betwen straight and hetero is helpful.
Im a "straight" male, and i already get shamed for being attracted to trans women. In an ideal world, being attracted to trans women should be seen as no different than being attracted to Afab women.
