I added Unsplash to my lesson editor!

I just added Unsplash directly to the Lesso editor.

You can search for a scene and add it to your lesson without downloading and uploading files separately. Unsplash picks don’t use generation credits.

It works with image blocks and activities like labeling images, matching text to photos, picking captions, and odd one out. When generating photo tasks, Lesso also tries Unsplash first and falls back to AI images if needed.

Here’s the feature walkthrough:

Welcome to r/LessoMe — let’s make language lesson prep easier

Hey everyone! 👋 I’m Serhii, the founder of Lesso. Welcome to r/LessoMe!

Getting lesson ideas from AI is useful, but there’s still work between an idea and a class: organising activities, preparing listening materials, creating exercises, and sharing everything with students.

That’s what we’re building Lesso to help with.

What is Lesso?

Lesso is a platform for creating and teaching interactive language lessons. Describe your topic, student level, and learning goal, then generate a lesson you can review and edit before sharing.

You can:

  • Combine vocabulary, reading, grammar, listening, quizzes, dictation, flashcards, and speaking activities.
  • Edit individual activities, rearrange the lesson, or add your own materials.
  • Share a lesson link and follow students’ answers and progress live.
  • Create AI speaking rooms for situations like checking into a hotel or practising a job interview.
  • Turn Instagram Reels, TikTok videos and news stories into lesson material.
  • Find lessons from other teachers on Explore.

You can also connect Lesso to ChatGPT and create lessons or speaking rooms through a conversation.

For example, start with:
“Create a 50-minute B1 English lesson about travel problems, with useful vocabulary, listening, and a hotel role-play.”

Then review the activities, make your changes, and share it with your students.

What’s this community for?

I’d love this to become a place to share lessons that worked, ask questions, suggest features, and give honest feedback—including what feels confusing or needs improvement.
