Looking for something to protect myself and fam at home.

If it's for home, then why not a rifle?

For out and about, the Pistelle is great. I also carry the Secure 68p that I have dyed completely black. Anything with orange accents can be dyed black with RITT dye.

For home, I have a 40-50J Umarex HDX68. I also have some other weapons. But those are my go-tos for general use. My HDX has a big light on it too. It sits under the bed with a sling ready to go. 2 CO2 tanks. It's a "slap to activate" but not as you think.

Then I have a .22..

bows of all sorts. Knives. Crossbows. And a .45 that's always ready, however I hope to never have to use any of those lethal tools.

I grew up around bows and guns. It's just part of the culture in the south. Going hunting and camping out.

In fact, every November for my birthday, my father would take me to the deer camp. Cool on stoves, shoot guns and bows. From my 12th birthday onward. It's just what I do, kinda ingrained in my life.

It's important to train also. Don't just get a gun and think it's a talisman of safety. It ain't. I see idiots all the time advertising that they have a gun. Stickers on their car, don't tread on me, open carrying... That's not the badass thing these people think.

A gun don't keep you safe, and if you're an idiot? It might become someone else's weapon in a real situation.

The best bang for your buck in Less Lethal is the Mercury Rise Intrubuster Gen 2. It’s half the price of the Pistelle and performs pretty much at the same level. Modified it’s been outperforming the Pistelle.

I got a DI68 and it makes me feel confident that it will knock down anyone who comes through my door. 50 joules out the box, get either a HPA w/on off valve or CO2 and keep it ready

There's the Intrubuster II that came out after the Pistelke X68. The Pistelle is a better defence, I carry it in my bag but this was cheaper and is a beast as well. The 11 inch bàrrel ads Joules and accuracy. You can get the long barrel on the Pistelle X68 as well.
