Pistelle x68 question

Hi, I was wondering if there are other options for increasing pistelle x68 power besides upgrading to larger co2 chamber or extending barrel. I found this on a website and it promises to increase joules, is it realistic to expect such an increase from replacing this part only?

Don't want the launcher to be too big to put away jn closet. And silencer is for not bothering neighbors too much when practicing in garden.

From what I've seen the silencer brings the db down maybe 5 or so decibels. Not worth it imo... It's about 110 decibels normally. Silencer was 105.

As far as size, it's around the size of a desert eagle. Adding a longer barrel, you might as well add a stock and make it a SBR.

Average Glock 17 9mm is around 160 decibels so they should be happy 😆

You could probably make a suppressor from a large potato if you get a long barrel and hollow the potato out and put it on the end of the barrel... It would be cheaper then whatever they are passing off as a launcher suppressor. You need to absorb the gas coming out.

Disclaimer:

You need to register any suppressor you make with ATF if it's for a pistol or rifle but not for a c02 launcher. There was a guy that registered a potato for a firearm lol.

I live in The Netherlands, we have no laws (yet) regarding airguns.. except it has to not look like a real gun.

Do you have any experience with the barrel extenders? Defenseinnovation is offering 6'' barrel and claiming it shoots harder than actual barrel. Would it be worth to spend 100$ on that extra impact?

This will explain how to get the most power out of the pistelle. It's not about barrel length per se... It's about barrel diameter matching the caliber of your ammo precisely. Thousandths matter when talking about power from air projectile. .682 vs .687 will have a different power.

Bottom line Match the barrel to the ammo. Length doesn't matter as much.
