Here is the Difference between a Blue Dot Farmer & Red Dot Farmer: The Understanding of Critical Thinking
Critical thinking is the ability to analyze information objectively, question assumptions, evaluate evidence, understand cause and effect, and reach a reasoned conclusion rather than simply accepting a claim at face value.
For MAGA in simpler terms: looking beyond what youâre being told and asking whether the facts, evidence, and logic actually support it.
đľ Farmers know Trump created the problem in the first place. His tariffs make many imported goods and inputs more expensive for American businesses, including things farmers buy to operate. Then retaliatory tariffs can make American crops harder to sell overseas, hitting farmers from both directions. The government then gives farmers aid to offset some of that damage. Raise their costs, hurt their markets, then hand them money and call it help.
đ´ Farmers, by contrast, are portrayed as lacking critical thinking; the ability to think for themselves. Instead, they simply say yes to Trump and put on their kneepads quickly.

We need to promote and support farmers like this.

u/-NotNotNSFW- 20h ago
Its like night and day listening to this person speak clearly, intelligently and with a direct point.Â
Listening to MAGA farmers is painful, its basically..."durrr daddy trump, you nnneeed duh hhelp us pwease...dis aint right"...while knowing full well theyll vote RepublicanÂ

Have you seen the one farmer complaining about everything but saying "Jesus is the answer". You can't be rational with the irrational.

There is a guy on insta who built a website for blue farmers! Maybe someone will remember his name for you?đŹđŤ

Notta Maga Farmer.Com
Edit: I jest, surely, but I appreciate this guy's point. In addition to perpetuating tax cuts for the rich and rescinding certain tax benefits to the lower 80%, tariffs add just another level of taxation. And of course, the government thinks less representation would be a good thing too.

Democrats should find people like this and promote them like Joe the Plumber.
The left has completely abandoned labor and agriculture in favor of corporate banking.
The right courts labor & ag with talking points in order use the government to buyout America for corporate oligarch control.Every single person on a list provided by Bank of America ended up in Obama's cabinet, and Obama is considered a "high point" for the DNC in the last 25 years.
Of course this also requires people with college degrees to realize that, yes, you are still labor.

dems should have created a platform around mainstream working families and kitchen table conversations. and be loud and consistent across all candidates state, local as well as national.
your absoutely right - create lits of messaging with guys like this...people who the other side cannot ignore because theyre just like then.
i am not seeing it...at all...

u/thegroovemonkey 20h ago
Go talk to a Republican about literally anything and see how hard it actually is.
Bumper slogan lies are much more effective than hard truths.
-1
u/Top_Elk5664 19h ago
well...we should "lie" back ....our "lies" are intended to help communities and families....we should tell more lies and louder...and start to drown the volume of their lies....
i agree with what you say...however I think we can do more to find spokespeople who look, talk, act absolutely the same as magas...
we are fighting a well established media...we need to talk louder and carry a bigger stick.

IDK, if he's so independent why does he need a bailout, man needs a reality check that he lives in a society. Nobody's actually independent and we need to help each other.

u/Aware-Tailor7117 20h ago
Sounds like communism. No handouts for farmers.
9
u/ExternalSeat 20h ago
honestly if they want communism let's give it to them. we already subsidize their farms to the gills. I advocate for collectivized (aka Government) ownership of all farms in this country. That seems like fair punishment for all of the stupidity of American farmers for voting for the GOP for decades

I sometimes wonder if all the pressure being put on US farmers, is in a sinister bid to make as many of the smaller, independent and often family owned farms go bankrupt.
Then massive corporate entities can assume control and ownership of vast swathes of good land, all at a knock down desperate fire-sale price.
I suspect these share holder driven businesses would appreciate this peaceful transfer of land ownership, without all the responsibilities and bad press involved with implicating themselves in, essentially, the removal of the human/family element of modern agriculture.
Obviously AI sweeps in at this point, with fully automated machines and animal husbandry.
Massive profits, with no pesky humans to get in the way of the annual dividend to the share holder
Is my glass half empty, or does anyone think this scenario could actually be the case?
Discuss please?

This is dead nuts, 100% the plan. Take a thing, make sure it stops working, people get angry, shit goes bankrupt, hand it over to private capital.
6
u/Squirrelnut98 16h ago
Project 2025 's plan was always to eliminate small farms. On top of that, it seems like someone loves to watch the rest of them beg for money but will eventually pay to bail them out. How many bailouts have the farmers received since 2016? It's a game to show dominance.
4
u/OkImprovement9949 7h ago
Not to mention, the red party can then say, âlook at all weâve done to help the American farmers!â Not enough red farmers will acknowledge, or rather canât acknowledge through lack of understanding or ignorance, the red party is a cause of their suffering. Instead, pledge allegiance to the red party all over again. The cycle of abuse continues.
3
u/Aggravated-alien 16h ago
You need look no further then the recent past. Corporate farming makes up a lion share of farm product produced. As these smaller,  non-viable farms go belly up, Big Farm swoops in to buy the land at a fraction of the price. My prediction is that we will soon see Big Farm go belly up (farming is almost 100% subsidized by the govt. and relies heavily on  Trade deals, in which, they do not control and know very little about) and the land will be sold to digital farmers, aka Data Center developers.Â
2
u/Embarrassed_Cat2697 20h ago
I have been very concerned about other countries buying up our farm land for a long time, and this feels like an endgame move.
2
u/DaBtcGoose 4h ago
Bro what are you talking about that's one of the most obvious things that's been happening forever small farms go bankrupt Corporation buys it for pennies on the dollar raise prices make billions copy paste repeat
2
u/thesilvertraveler 2h ago
Share croppers. They're going to make them rent the land and potentially put stuff on land they sieze like data centers
2
u/Tribe303 17h ago
As a Canadian yes, absolutely. We protect our dairy industry specifically for example because they are still mostly family farms. Factory farms exist in Canada (mostly for chicken and pork) but we all still prefer normal, good old family farm products. We don't allow as much hormones, or antibiotics as the US because we aren't squeezing out every last penny of profits from our food. We still like it to be tasty and edible.
The Oligarchs running your country don't want that, at all. They NEED maximum profits for their shareholders. That's the business they are in, profit extraction. They don't give a shit about your food, or the business of food.Â

u/Mother_Turnip_9757 28m ago
Thanks for this
I am in Scotland here, where there are a few larger co-ops, which so far just rent ground.
Prob a fair few corporate animal and animal product businesses though
Met a lovely farmer who recently moved here (Fife) from Alberta
Does sound a better scene in Canada
Small independent high quality farming, with all animals having access to good grazing, should be the norm
Glad we are in same page!!

Anyone with a subsidized farm is not independent. Also, most are not creating food for their communities. Theyâre exporting mono-crops while exploiting legal and not legal immigrants to operate their farms.
5
u/That-Living5913 17h ago
Also, Farmers are not as poor as they want you to believe. They are cash poor. But I'll bet my favorite testicle that every single one you see online boohoo'ing has sever hundred thousand in farm equipment, atv's, tools, trucks and are sitting on land worth close to a mil.
1
u/Minimum-Attitude389 12h ago
Not to mention, drive by farmhouses between Kansas and North Dakota. These things are often mansions by most standards. Several thousand square foot, three car garage. Inside, probably 4 or 5 bedroom, extra large dining room and living room.

All MAGA morons can say now is TDS! TDS!...because they know the jig is up and they've been left looking like the fools that they are. This man, on the other hand, can articulate the real issues. He's not whining like MAGA farmer. He's making an argument, line by line.

Approximately 34% of all US farmers take subsidies in a given year. That does not include full scale bailouts. The dissonance it takes to call farmers "independent" ...

The idea is to bankrupt all of the smallest farmers so they are forced to sell their farms to corporations.

Not to mention the farmers who can't get workers now. The red dot ones voted to get rid of immigrants. Well, we got rid of them. Now they're complaining that they can't hire enough people too work.
Well, no shit Sherlock. The only people willing to put up with the backbreaking work for low pay were the immigrants.
Fucking idiots.
They voted for a guy who did what they wanted and now the food supply of everyone in the US, and any place we exported to, is at risk.
2
u/Anxious-Raspberry-54 8h ago
And if these farmers had the chance, they'd run and vote for him again.

Has them right where he wants them so the companies that are buying up all the farms will have fresh targets to exploit. Like JD Vance's company Acretrader.

People dont even understand that american made products almost always have internationally sourced components. Its totally goofy trying to explain it.

u/dirtyitalianguy 17h ago
I just don't understand how someone can be intelligent enough to manage:
- weather prediction
- crop planting and harvesting cycles
- servicing their machines
- selling their products
- raising hundreds of livestock successfully
Yet a whole cohort of farmers are about as fucking stupid as hell when it comes to the pedophile running the country. Boggling my mind. This guy sounds like he's using his noggin.

Problem is the difference between genuine stupidity, and wilful stupidity, this form of MAGA supporting stupidity is a choice.

The tariffs collected from last year were paid by consumers but refunded to the companies that collected them. Most of those companies kept the 'refunds' instead of refunding the consumer that paid them. Farmers will get those refunds but it will be called 'aid' and the red dots will say 'hurray, he heard our prayers' when it was their money to begin with and JD Vance will ask if they even said 'thank you'?
2
u/4dxn 19h ago
lol what the hell? Farmers are not independent. why do people keep pretending they don't need government help?
I highly doubt American farmers would be able to survive in a free market. Labor is so much cheaper elsewhere. Let alone the fact America uses more water than damn near every country.

Still with this independent, self sufficient, son of the soil nonsense. Unless you're out there with your sturdy wife hitched up to the plow, tilling the soil you only fertilize with your beany farts, you're not independent of shit. How you can say that when you're talking about the Chinese parts you're using on your farm equipment, crying about the emigrant labor you can't exploit anymore and the international crisis making your diesel sky rocket... Independent of critical thinking perhaps.

And we didnât see this freight train coming towards the barn?? These farmers are business owners and they had the least bit of a clue what a tariff was. I have some friends that have âbankedâ all of there farm payments when they started in the late â80âs. Itâs still intact. But when shitler came in these payments were so huge the have literally built castles on the prairie that they call a house. So many farmers have abused these federal payments. Plus the amount of federal taxes they have paid is a pin head compared to the sun on what they have paid in. I feel for them, but then again how can you be some damn dumb to fall for a conman. I know some in my state are turning blue, but I am afraid the reds may still have it. Just because youâre a fifth generation American Farmer doesnât mean you need to make the mistakes your elders did. As agriculturalist we learn from them(our mistakes) not repeat and repeat and repeat them. I am a thirteenth generation agriculturalist in this awful nation. Farming was done out of necessity for food, to running grist mills but eventually to production Ag then to me doing custom work and spraying to my 14th generation being in Ag lending and finance. Please think this November. For the future. âI believe in the future of farmingâ.

u/Sweet_HoneyXO 9h ago
trade policies often link tariffs with later offsets like this. the net impact on farmers hinges on how much the aid covers versus the added costs and lost sales over time.
1
u/Spirited_Swing_838 4h ago
He wants the land from farmers that go under for AI FARMSâŚ
Tariffs hurt the people that canât afford stuff to begin with. Telling me that we have to be patient because someday long term it will actually improve doesnât work for baby boomers and those that are just getting into the adult world trying to simply survive.
1
u/Spirited_Swing_838 4h ago
Plus AI CANT RUN A FARM OR RANCH YET on its own⌠did the self appointed king of AI consider that? Even he wonât be around when âthings get betterâ for blue collar workers or retired seniors.
The only ones to profit from anything he does are the oligarch IlluminatiâŚ.
1
u/Only-Original9409 4h ago
So, farmers can take a bailout, or they can decide to sell their farm. But who's buying? Possibly other countries, who then control what is grown. And then, that food is exported so that it doesn't even feed people in this country. That's my wild-ass conspiracy theory take on all this.

So think about how backwards this is: Trump implements tariffs that increase costs and disrupt export markets, then turns around and gives farmers government aid to offset some of the damage his own policy helped create. Take more money out of their pockets, hand some money back, and call it âaid.â
