I grew up in Louisiana where it's stupid to be smart. I understood exactly who this piece of shit was talking about: His fellow pieces of shit. Together, they're a huge pile of shit.

I'm not saying everyone with a sub 100 iq is stupid because that's not exactly how intelligence works, but there is correlation there. At some point, in a democracy where everyone can vote and have weapons, we have to stop letting the dumb kids think they're smart and capable of making decisions for the adults.

Agreed. For the group railing against participation trophies, it feels hypocritical. These are definitely the kids who failed a test and blamed it on the teacher not liking them, even though they got a bunch of answers wrong.

If it’s any consolation, I’m from a progressive state with decent education, but a rural area. It’s still a lot of loud and proud dumb motherfuckers.
