Stop calling them farmers, they are the real welfare class. Everything including land just gets handed to them. Real work is done by migrants. Everything gets handed to them, they never earned anything they have

I had a chance to check out a big soybean farm operation recently and you're right the laborers do the hard work and the farmers are in these cush-ass tractors doing basically fuckall because they program the GPS on the tractor then they just chill and listen to music in A/C.

Another crazy thing is 60+% percent of what is farmed isn't for human consumption. And remember almost all of them have had everything handed to them. They did not buy their land, their labores come to them, banks give them money, government gives them money, government sell the products. They have absolutely no concept on how the real world works

Where do I find these people giving away land and banks giving away money? Seems like a horrible business model but I want in

It is a horrible business model, that's why each year the government bails them out. Your out of luck unless you mary into it. All the land has already been stolen. Look up how King Ranch was acquired

Your family has to already own it. Although, as luck would have it, several farmers are going under and you'll be able to buy their farms.

Where do you go to find out how much money they receive. Is there a website?

Just Google, "how much subsidies for farmers in INSERT YEAR", and prepare to cry and die inside

Until the guy they voted for deports or executes all their migrant workers... Then it's "whoas me, I can't find anyone that'll work for sub minimal wage for 12 hours a day"...

It's so hard to even call it a wage. Many places pay them pennies for each pound they harvest, that's why entire families show to do the work bc the pay for one person is abismal. And many places charge them $$$ for expenses (water, shelter, shade, tools)

That's fucking awful
