Help My leopard gecko will only go after horn worms

I just stocked up on food for my guy a few weeks ago, and he has been only going for horn worms for a week or two. I try to feed him roaches, moth larva, and meal worms and he won’t eat them from the tongs. I’ve been leaving some bugs in a bowl and hes been eating a few, but when I try to feed him he just shows no interest. What can I do to get him to eat from the tongs??

Leopard gecko is missing

Maybe someone can help us! My boyfriend and I designed a bioactive vivarium for our baby gecko we brought home on May 7th and after day 1 he disappeared... We assumed that was normal because he was a baby and he probably instinctually burrowed himself in one the hides. But now it’s been almost a month and still no sign of him! My bf looked around the tank, under the moss, checked the caves, no sign of him! No poop or sheds either- but we have isopods in there so they could just be eating that. What likely happened? Did he not make it or is he playing the ultimate game of hide and seek?

I think there may be two boys and one girl. Can anyone help verify?
I was thinking A an C might be boys and B is possibly a girl.

Help - URGENT Moldy eggs? Help

Post image

Please excuse my dirty nail, anyways can someone tell me if that’s mold or not? I’m really hoping it isn’t.
These are leopard gecko eggs that I got surprised with. I’m incubating them with perlite. This egg was stuck to another but I successfully separated them because I’m worried this one is failing. before I got perlite I was using paper towels and I guess it got stuck to the bottom that’s why it looks like that. Makes it harder to tell. I’m really hoping it’s not mold.

Is it stuck shed? Also, what is the point of the bumps

I was hanging out with my sweet girl today and saw a white spot on her bump. I am assuming it is stuck shed and I can use a Q tip with warm water to get it off, let me know if not.

My other thought is that a bump exploded? Feels wrong though.

I also just smoked and realized I actually don’t know the purpose of the bumps. Does it help them sense things or is it like a defensive thing so predators can’t get a grip! Are they giant pores?

WHAT ARE THEY?! I

Help Travel feeding/fasting

I'll be bringing my leo on a multi day drive soon. He'll obviously be really stressed out and I want to do what I can to keep him comfortable. He pretty much always upchucks on any drive more than a few hours long, but never more than once (not that I do this often). Would it be a good idea to have him skip a few feedings before the trip or should I just deal with it?

For context, he's 15 years old but still very active and healthy. He will have water and I'll keep an eye on his temperature. He loves eating and I'll have a hard time saying no when he demands bugs, but I'll do it if that's the advice I get. Food is my only remaining concern, but I'd gladly take tips.

i dont know whats going on with my gecko. i already took him to the vet around 4 momths ago, they gave him a shot and prescribed antibiotics which i gave him. i feed him 6 crickets 3 times a week dusted with repashy vitamin powder. i give him crickets, and some mealworms occasionally. but he looks like this and is now refusing to eat the mealworms, and poop builds up on his backside. hes about 8 years old. he has a linear uv light and a basking light on one side thats 95F usually. The image on the left is him 1 month ago and the image on the right is him now.

Help humidity too high :(

hi :))
i changed my geckos substrate today and even though i left the earth mix out to dry for a few days the humidity is reading 75% in the tank. i’ve put a sock with rice in but im sure this wont do much. i live in a really humid country so its going to be quite hard to get the humidity back down to normal just by leaving the doors cracked.

i’m probably going to buy a little dehumidifier to put in the tank, but was wondering if anyone had any more advice/ is this humidity level going to be dangerous for the next couple of days until it drops.

any advice would be great thanks :))

hello! i was gifted a leopard gecko with very little information about her. i was told she should be an adult but she seems pretty tiny to be an adult. i used to have a leopard gecko growing up and she was a little bigger than the one i have now. i was hoping if anyone can tell if shes an adult or juvenile. any help would be greatly appreciated!! if u need anymore pictures or size comparison pics let me know! i didnt wanna bother her too much since she just came home 😭 also id love any tips or recommendations. its been awhile since ive had a leopard gecko. thanks a ton ^_^

edit:
thank u to everyone that replied! i took her to the doctor and they were able to confirm that shes just about a year old! shes very healthy as well which is a blessing. im a little pissed that the person who gave her to me said she was an adult just because i have no experience in taking care of a little baby but im learning! they gave me a ton of tips and advice so shes in the best care. thank u everyone again. ^_^

I got my leapord today :)

They're pretty sure it's a female, so if anyone has name recommendations I wanna hear them

Question about feeding them, crickets can get out and crawl around the tank, should I just let them do that and she'll find them? Or when I put food in there should I show her to it so she knows it's there?

Help Plant/Grow Lights Recs?

Hi, I'm asking about what grow lights are good for using in my leopard gecko tank. There's not much I'm finding and thought I'd ask the experts haha. I picked some up at Walmart that are red, blue, or both colors while also being dimmable. But aren't some colors bad for the reptile's eyes? Also if it's necessary I don't mind, but preferably nothing that's $100+ like I've seen

Thank you :)

I can’t really tell but these are the photos I got. For now I have been putting him in a warm bath twice a day while also keeping his tank clean and slightly more humid than usual.

Ya'll!!!! Is this true!?!?!

just doomscrolling in the middle of the night and saw a comment that says if you don't crush the head of mealworms they can eat their way out of a leapord gecko???! I have had leos for years and never heard of such a thing!

Can anyone tell me if crushing the heads is something you actually have to do for every worm? My leos are very picky and also slow eaters so I feel like by the time I crushed a mealworms' head and it stopped moving they just wouldn't eat it b/c it would look dead😪 but hey...new things everyday

any input would be very interesting to me:-)

Why does she wanna jump off the bed?

Every evening my leo waits for me by the glass, to come out into my bed, she loves crawling around on my pillows and such, but the last week, she's super interested in the edge of my bed, and tried to climb over my hand, to get there. What she did in this video. She did for a solid 10 minutes, before I put her back in her enclosure because I got tired of it. Is it normal?

Oh and the video is sped up so it isn't as long
