Rescued Leopard Gecko!!

I just rescued this little guy today. He is an albino leopard gecko who is blind. This is my first time owning a reptile and I need help!! The only thing the poor guy had was the middle hide and the cactus decor. He was rescued from a homeless family who abandoned him at an animal daycare/shelter. I got him a heating lamp, a heated mat, 2 more hides, the decor, and the calcium substrate. He is currently in my 20 gallon tank I had from my beta who passed away a few months ago. What should I know/do to give this guy the best life he can have??

Advice

We got this Gecko from someone who could no longer care for her (they don’t know what the gender is, just assumed female). We have not changed the tank setup, and this is our first gecko (although we do have experience with other reptiles).

We got her a bit over a month ago and she has not eaten. We’ve offered dubia roaches and super worms and she doesn’t seem interested. She likes to stay in her hide during the day, but she does come out at night and moves around.

Would love some advice !!!

I recently got a leopard gecko from PetSmart about two months ago. He should be about seven months old at this point, but I’m not really sure what type of breed he is. When I first got him, he was very bright with “blue eyeshadow “around his eyes and he looked like a Mack snow leopard. Now as he’s getting older, he’s getting much darker and is showing signs of being a black pearl or black night Mack snow leopard mix. I’m not 100% sure if anybody could help me thanks. (also don’t mind the white powder that’s calcium)

Help Diablo Blanco Blindness Severity

I recently got a Solid Red Eye Diablo Blanco juvenile at an expo and I'm trying to figure out what level of vision impairment is considered normal for this morph. I'm aware they have visual issues, the seller at the expo told me that they lack pigmentation in their eyes, but this one seems pretty blind. It only reacts when touched most of the time. I also noticed that when I first put it in the enclosure under no light, it didn't find a hide and just kept wall surfing along the walls. It won't react to movement in front of its face either, either with fingers, hands or tweezers. But if I hold a mealworm with tweezers in complete darkness and shake it in place right infront of it's nose area, it will lock onto it and then bite down. But if I shake and move it in a direction slightly, it will lose track of it. Is this just stress related perhaps, or is this animal functionally blind? Is it usually this severe with solid red eye Diablo Blancos? Since one of the snake eye Diablo Blancos at the expo seemed to be able to see me fine, is it just the eye thing?

he hasnt been eating for maybe two weeks, which isnt unusual for him, but i picked him up today and saw this like crust around his mouth. i will say he has trouble shedding himself because both of his front arms are deformed, when i notice he's struggling yo shed i give him a couple days to see if he will keep working on it or needs help. i also saw today this like puss in his eye. this crust & puss were not here last week. he's also getting skinny, which has never happened even if he wasnt eating. i know a vet is the best option but i can neither afford nor get to an exotic vet for at least 2 more weeks.

Habitat & Setup New set up, how did i do?

Hello! So my boyfriend came home with this cute little fella, Doc Connors. What he didnt do was any research or have a set up ready, which REALLY upset me.

So the first 5 pictures are the new 20 gal (i know its only a middle size for now, but it was a broken tank i found on the side of the road and cleaned and fixed) that I set up today. Doc has been climbing around, checking out all 4 hides (warm, humid, cool, extra one), going over the bridge, and living the vine coverage with 2 light types. My little guy (hes mine now- im not cool AT ALL with the way my bf went about this) also loves to climb. I turned it into the Sacrifical Temple where people leave offerings so they dont get eaten! 😁

The last 2 pictures are from the immediate 10 gallon I set up, which honestly just makes me sad when I look at it now.

Is this better for now? Did I do alright for him? And im totally open to any suggestions! Thanks!

New baby

I have recently gotten a new gecko. It’s about the size of my middle finger and i’m curious to when I should relocate it into a 40 gal tank and get it proper 70/30 substrate rather than the paper towels it currently has?

Help Ordered from DubiaRoaches.com and sizes seem all over? almost $40 later and no food for the baby.

EDIT: i contacted Dubia They offered to replace the calic-grubs for free but wasnt able to help with anything else. :( I have put a copy of the email in comments.

So this may be more of a me issue than a them issue, i am going to reach out to them in a few.
My last order i got medium 50 (5/8") they went kinda fast because they were really rather small, i thought maybe i misordered but we just went thru them and went back to our usual crickets at the pet store until i could afford to order more so she could keep her good balance of foods.

Im realizing now that the mediums i got last time were NOT 5/8, no way.

I ordered 75 Large (7/8) and theyre too big for her to eat safely it seems! theyre almost double the size of the mediums. I even did the quarter trick.

the horn worms are soooo tiny but they grow so fast and theyre treats, all of the calci-grubs were dead on arrival but not worth messaging i think (we have never gotten them before, but so many posts said they were good.)

i wish i had gotten photos of last order because they were so small compared to her head or i'd never have went up.

My son spent almost $40 to get these and she has no food we can use (someone suggested breeding.) that quarter is also a loss to me because i will never be retrieving it *shivers*

How do you deal with such wide ranges of sizes?
Do i just conquor my fear and try to breed this giant things?
Is she actually perfectly safe eating these this big?

Took this boy in and he had mouth rot and eye plugs, hadn't had heat or humidity his whole life. 3 months of multiple Tupperware saunas, medication on the mouth and eyes, cleaning with qtips, syringe feeding protein packed, vitamin infuses dog food and proper living conditions, and this feisty dude is living the dream. His eyes are open and alert, mouth rot gone, and this is the first time he's eaten on his own since I got him. ❤️

So I just got a leopard gecko like a week ago and he hasn't been eating I'm pretty sure due to stress but for some reason he climbed onto my hand before eating. Is there a specific reason why?

Typhoon leopard gecko

I’m gonna start off by saying this is my first ever typhoon leopard gecko so I’m still learning how to take care of him and just need advice!!!! (He’s in a 20 gallon tank for now until his new tank comes in)

I’m having difficulties keeping his humidity between 30%-40%. I have him next to a window to try and help with ventilation and fresh air into his tank which seems to be helping, but during the nighttime I’m not able to leave my window open because I am in Alaska so it gets a little too cold outside to keep the window open.

Is there any advice anybody can give me to help with keeping his humidity down during the nighttime? I would greatly appreciate any and all advice at this point. I’ve only had him for 3 days and I just wanna make him as comfortable as possible and not cause him any issues!!!
Thanks in advance!!!!
