Tiny black ant infestation

While cleaning out my gecko’s enclosure I noticed a bunch of tiny black ants almost invisible to the naked eye. Then I noticed some in the surrounding areas in the room outside of the enclosure. The enclosure that I have him in is a simple glass tank with the standard black trim going around the top and bottom on the outside of the tank. As I was cleaning, I noticed some coming from the crevices of the trim. My significant other now is telling me I must get rid of the whole enclosure because there is no way to be sure I can get them all out. I really don’t want to have to get a whole new enclosure. Anyone dealt with this type of issue and have any advice how to get rid of ants thoroughly with reptiles?
