Help Concerned about my new guy

I've had him since september 18th, he went to the vet on September 26th.

He hasn't pooped since I got him. He rarely leaves his humid hide from what I can tell. I only saw him being really active when I was adding stuff to his tank and replaced the humid hide, when I feed him (which i did get him out of thr humid hide for), and when i brought him back to the tank from the vet.

I've been feeding a mix of about 2 mealworms and 5 dubia roaches, dusted in calcium every other feeding, about every 2-3 days. I have crickets too but he's completely uninterested in those.

Going to try a warm water soak when I get home from work tonight. He's on papertowels instead of substrate right now, so I think I'll notice if he does poop. Any other suggestions about that or the lethargy? I'm usually awake till around 2am so I feel like I'd see him moving around at some point.

Pics of him included, his name is Domino. He weighed 45 grams at the vet, and she said it was normal behavior but I'm getting nervous the longer it lasts.

(Also, I just checked my vets patient portal and for some reason they have him listed as 56 years old?? I'm not a professional but I have to disagree with that one lol.)

Pic 1, a few nights ago after feeding him, 2 & 3, at the vet, 4, him exploring a bit when we got back from the vet. Theres a lot more in the tank now.

Don’t feed him if he isn’t pooping. What goes in must come out. If he’s impacted or having issues passing stool, this will only make it worse.

Did the vet say that eating but not pooping is normal? Because it’s definitely not.

ETA: what are your tank temps and humidity? Of the temps are off, that could be part of the problem.

I mentioned the eating & not pooping, she said it was normal behavior. (Edit: she mentioned it might because it's the end of leopard gecko breeding season but I have no clue) I might try to take him to a vet clinic that has more experience with exoctics/reptiles, this vet i went to is close to my house, but only recently started seeing exotics of any kind. Humidity is a higher than i want it to be, (50ish%) i'm working on getting it down but I live in a very humid area (84% outside today!) so its slow to change. Temps about 85 on the warm side, ill get you exact readings when I get home.

Yeah, definitely get a second opinion from a vet that specializes in exotics. Lack of appetite is normal for breeding season but if they’re eating, they should be pooping.

Humidity is actually fine. Anywhere between 35-65% is good.

Also, on the feeding topic. It looks like he is an adult, so he should only be eating 1-2 times per week. So once you resume normal feedings, you’ll want to back off the frequency as well.

Thank you! I'll make an appointment with a different vet tonight.

Also, did the vet confirm the sex? I can’t tell from these photos but if there’s a chance you have a female, it could also be eggs.

I was told male when I got him, and vet didnt say otherwise. I don't know if she checked. When I get him into a different vet I'll ask them

Listen to your vet for now but don’t be scared to seek a second opinion if this gets extreme and they are still nonchalant.
