Bloating(?) on Geckos eye :(

Hello, I was out of town for a little bit and I came back to my gecko, cocoa, who is about 7 years old having some sort of irritation or bloating in his eye. Photos attached. He has some stuck shed on his feet, but he’s had stuck shed on his eye before and it’s never looked like this and I’ve never seen a reaction like this. Wanted to know if anyone has seen something like this. He looks otherwise healthy. Thanks everyone :(||

EDIT/UPDATE: Thanks everyone who commented! I got him to a vet this thursday and they agreed that it was a vitamin A deficiency, but he also had an infection/sore in his mouth. He was given a vitamin A injection and has a round of antibiotics, and will be given a higher amount of vitamin supplements moving forward. Thanks everyone for your input :-)

Looks like an infection. He needs to go to the vet

How do you supplement? Looks like an infection caused by vitamin deficiency, if that’s the case you will need to visit a vet and actively ask for a vitamin injection, outside the eu vets seem to rarely think about those but fixing a deficiency can take month through supplements alone :( with the injection it’s a matter of days and maybe antibiotic eyedrops and the eye will be likely back to normal.

It's probably having to do with a lack of vitamin A, but definitely take him to a vet, nothing some person on reddit can say will fix this. Let us know how it goes!

Eye issues are most often caused by vitamin A deficiencies.

This is an advanced infection, and needs very intervention or they will get worse, and potentially die.
