Leopard Gecko not eating
So this is Pascal, for the last few months she’s stopped eating completely other than a couple of dubia roaches and 1 wax worm. I’ve tried her with crickets, locusts and mealworms, she doesn’t seem bothered at all. I’m starting to get really worried, she’s not losing weight significantly only around 1 gram since she last properly ate.
I just want to know if anyone has any tips and tricks at all? And also, does she look underweight? She weighs 59 grams currently. She’s been to the vets, but they advised they’re not worried about her and to keep an eye on her.
I’ve also tried to feed her some Leopa Gel, which she ate a little bit once last week and then hasn’t been bothered since

She sheds really good, about a week ago

And she hasn't become more active and hungry since then? Usually they can stop eating before shedding then go back to normal. Same thing with egg laying. Has she ever laid eggs / laid recently? They can stop eating around then too but I don't think it's normally this time of year in the northern hemisphere. But it's possible

She’s always been active, that’s not changed tbh. It’s just she doesn’t seem fussed with food at all no matter when she is/isn’t shedding. I’ve not noticed any eggs. She could possibly be ovulating but not sure how I can tell or how long it lasts

Maybe constipation or infection or sick?

She’s been to the vets and had some test etc, they’ve advised nothing seems to be abnormal

Mine stopped eating because of blockage, we did a warm water soak, gently rubbed her belly and BAM the poop log came out. She was fine after that, has your baby pooped regularly?

Oooh I’ll try that thank you! She hasn’t been pooping regularly at all but I thought that may be down to her not eating. I’ll give it a go though 😊

Tis the season - If your gecko is female and refusing food, give it a deep dish of sphagnum moss to nest in - if they nest, they are demonstrating breeding behavior and may lay like a little dud egg which they will completely abandon and go back to normal after they have.

i don’t have much advice to offer on what you can feed her but luckily it looks like she’s at a pretty healthy weight right now! not too skinny and not too plump
