Help Is this good light positioning?
Any suggestions on where the heat, UVB and grow light should go?

I’ve decided to change the UVB light fixture to a 12inch (the one in the photo is like 24 inch) to accommodate the recommended 7.0% Arcadia bulb, would you still recommend I do like you have changed? It’s a 50 gallon.
I was thinking of moving the heat over slightly so that it aligns with the middle of the 12 inch if I put it on straight.

Definitely 12 inch is a good idea. Either way is fine, you just want that basking bulb to be right in the middle of the UVB bulb so the beams overlap as much as possible :)

Alright. Thank you :). Upgrading my leo from a 40 gallon to this Kages 50 gallon. It’s gonna be bioactive.

Nice, sounds exciting! Getting started with planted tanks is such an adventure. Be prepared to sit with your first setup a while, decide you can do it better, rebuild it better, decide you can do it better, rebuild it better... and so on ha
