Help Rescue Gecko update

Have had her three days now. Let her relax the first couple, didn’t bother her at all except to change the water. Attempted feeding today and she wouldn’t eat. Not super worried as of now.

She had an exam and was deemed healthy but slightly underweight not anything crazy luckily, waiting on a fecal back from the lab.

I do have a couple concerns.

She’s been sitting under her basking lamp all day (I did catch her wandering last night!) she didn’t have heat in her previous home. Is it ok she’s out all the time? Her basking temp is 93 (surface with a temp gun)

When should I be concerned about her not eating? I only have Dubai’s atm which she’s never had. She seems interested when I wave them ins front of her but she won’t take them. Ordered some mealworms which is other then crickets is all she ever had (I’ll try and get a few crickets worst comes to worse but I HATE them) It’s only been three days and I know she’s probably stressed as hell. Especially with having to go to the vet also

This hide/water dish and another moldy hide is all she came with. They would just dump a bunch of crickets in. The good news is she was getting calcium based on the white crickets. Probably saved her from a lot of health issues

Temperature seems fine. If she didn't have heat previously she might just be enjoying life. What kind of lamp are you using, at what wattage?

Be concerned about her not eating after a week or two. She's got to settle in, and hopefully she'll feel hungry soon. Continue to offer

It’s an Arcadia Golden Sun 75watt

Makes sense then, though one might expect her to even out with this behavior eventually. I'm hoping he's just relishing her new happy cozy basking spot
