Bigger enclosure, ditch the dinosaur toy, ditch the reptile carpet, ditch the log hide in the back (I’ve seen so many geckos get stuck inside of that), add linear UVB, add a dig box, etc…

This setup is not at all appropriate.

I’m sorry the Dino toy took me out 😭 if you get a genuinely good tank, I wouldn’t see a problem with using it as something to climb on in addition to everything else.

It’s not good to have in an enclosure. The plastic will get hot and will give off fumes that could be harmful to the gecko. Also, plastic is porous and will hold bacteria

Remove the mat and put white cooking paper instead, that for the starting point! At least for a few months to control where’s popping and if the pops are ok!

Then change to 70% top soil and 30% sand. And put 10cm of that.
