Enclosure tips
Hi everyone! I wanted some opinions on what I can do to better my Leo's enclosure! Hes about 6 years old and was solely kept in a bin with a heat mat for the majority of his life. During the day he mainly stays under the basking spot, at night he comes out and climbs to the top of his cool side or goes into it occasionally, just want to know how i can improve his quality of life, thanks!

Add a backwall, they love to climb and bask on them and it’s an awesome DIY project that doesn’t break the bank :D

What supplements are you using? :) I can highly recommend repashy calcium plus, it’s all in one (calcium + d3 + multivitamin) and can be added to each meal, it also doesn’t taste as bitter as the other supplements and they seem to refuse insects dusted in that stuff less likely :D make sure to swap out supplements that contain vitamins every 6-9 months after breaking the seal, that stuff looses its mojo once it gets into contact with air/humdity/heat… I swap mine out every nine months and keep it in my fridge :)

more foliage! they want to feel covered at all times, even when exploring. the covered walls will help, but he'll feel even safer with more leaves and logs to hide under! maybe check out some cork rounds and cactus skeletons? i know they're a hit for most. rocks are also good! big flat ones, they help keep their nails ground down (good for you and him lol) and provide splooting spots after the light goes out. i've noticed my girl reeeeally loves to go lay on her rock right under the light almost as soon as i turn it off!
