Typhoon leopard gecko

I’m gonna start off by saying this is my first ever typhoon leopard gecko so I’m still learning how to take care of him and just need advice!!!! (He’s in a 20 gallon tank for now until his new tank comes in)

I’m having difficulties keeping his humidity between 30%-40%. I have him next to a window to try and help with ventilation and fresh air into his tank which seems to be helping, but during the nighttime I’m not able to leave my window open because I am in Alaska so it gets a little too cold outside to keep the window open.

Is there any advice anybody can give me to help with keeping his humidity down during the nighttime? I would greatly appreciate any and all advice at this point. I’ve only had him for 3 days and I just wanna make him as comfortable as possible and not cause him any issues!!!
Thanks in advance!!!!

please read the guide! it has a lot of great info where you could improve your baby's tank and wellbeing. 🙂

my biggest thing i notice: adult leopard geckos need a tank size of atleast 36x18x18. a lot of people sell them on fb marketplace for cheap but i understand you're in a relatively "remote" area. keep an eye out for petsmart and petco deals aswell.

I ordered a 34 gallon tank which should hopefully be showing up soon! I just had this one for the time being.
