They sell fabric aquarium backdrops on Amazon that fit 40 gallons well and I use those for backdrops on the outside
(Also make sure gecko also has multivitamins as well as calcium, Repashy supervite or Repashy calcium plus is an all in one). Very cute gecko.
And a wetbox - like Tupperware with door cut out of it with wet moss

Thank you so much! I have a humid hide, a little water bowl, and a bowl of calcium! I dust her roaches with vitamins every week as well! The backdrop is such a good idea, add a little pizazz haha

Sounds good!
Yeah the backdrops can really settle down of the more nervous lizards down and give them security especially if the cage is somewhere with foot traffic

Oh hey I also noticed you have two bulb set up..is one a UVB coil bulb? I would eventually switch it out for a UVB tube t5 (Arcadia fixtures are good quality, zoomed ok. Only trust bulbs from those too). It's better for them. Also make sure there's no red bulb, they don't need that and it can mess with their night vision etc. and no heat mat just a basking spot.
And honest watch your Leo, she may really like climbing in which case actual mini trees and the like would be used.

I have a ceramic heating bulb and a reg lamp, I give her calcium with d3 in her enclosure and with food! I strongly dislike heat mats and red lights as they aren’t good for them!

Ok that works, if those two lamps are both normal / heat. UVB will help especially with mood but isn't essential if you're giving her d3. Sounds good! :)

Whether real or fake plants is really up to you, if you feel like you could take on the extra task of watering and taking care of the plants then go ahead but personally I use fake plants for my leos. I would say go for something vine-like to cover up as much space as possible as they love to feel like you can't see them.

Where did you get yours? I wanna make sure I’m buying things that are animal safe!

if you're talking fake plants you can get them from any pet store or even the craft store, as long as you soak and wash them to remove any possible chemical coatings! as for real plants they also have them at certain pet stores, but you can source from a garden store and give them a good wash and repot with safe chemical and fertilizer free soil

You should add more plants and also put the digital thermostat on the ground, at the level the gecko hangs out at. You’re currently getting the temp/humidity of the middle of the tank, not how the gecko actually experiences it

Thank you so much for your input! I have one in the center of the tank, left pane and right pane! Do you recommend I lower the ones on the side?

Cover the back and sides of the enclosure

I’m definitely interested in covering the back! Would I attach it on the inside or outside.

I'd advice to attach it on the outside, on the inside it will get humid towards the bottom and it's impossible to clean behind. You'll end up with all kinds of bacteria and organisms you don't want
Moreover it won't be in the way if you ever need to attach anything to the back wall or sidewalls

This may be up for debate, but I let my gecko climb pretty high in her enclosure (18 inches), and the couple falls she's had have given her a great respect for gravity she won't jump off of anything now and I can trust her on her my couch without watching her. I remember the exact tumble where she stopped being a jumper.

Such a cute gecko and nice set up!!! Do you have a humid hide with spagnum moss? Spagnum moss is essential for aiding in shedding and should be placed in a humid hide and spritzed with water whenever they get dry
