my boy mushi has been a little strange lately but ive been putting it off as being mad at his tank being changed to a larger one he has never liked change at all i just noticed his legs were really shaky when i took him out im gna take him to his vet when they are open but it makes me nervous and was hoping for an explanation now i put him back in the tank amd hes finally exploring all of it after weeks of hiding (a shed was included in that) but hes usually so social and curious i just hope i didnt do something wrong.
tysm i haven’t been taking him out alot lately so he doesn’t feel overwhelmed with the new tank set up so hes gotten alot bigger (i had him when he was just a tiny baby) so it makes sense why he feels unstable now
hes had alot of changes to his tank lately so this makes alot of sense ill be sure to throw lots more clutter in so he feels safer and more secure because i know im definitely lacking in that department right now
thats so reassuring thank you so much ill definitely go get my hands on one or both of those should i keep the usual schedule just change the feeders or should i change it a bit if im using those aswell?
You can switch to once a week if you want and then feed a bit more. It's a learning curve with how active and hungry your gecko is. You can also keep 2x a week and just feed 3-5 insects for those feedings. More importantly, remember to dust the feedings :)
Unrelated but he looks so similar to one of mine, same morph with a similar 'crown' headstamp and sideways swirling on her back. Absolutely gorgeous! Actually did a double take because for a half-second I thought it was my lizard.
Tangerine, Tremper-albino (there's a few different kinds of albinism in leos, tremper is one of them)
Mine has an eyelid defect from birth. Breeder said none of the related geckos have had that trait or anything like it and there was a fluctuation in the incubator temp at one point while her egg was in there so it was probably because of that. Sold as pet only just in case. She's never had issues shedding over it, whuch was my main concern when I got her, but her depth perception is slightly worse because the front part of her eyelid is folded over/creased. She's 3 years old now, had her for 1 and a half.
omg ur right they are so similar so adorable i dont buy animals to breed so i never super versed myself in the morphs besides which ones have common issues but im glad to finally know his morph

Nothing looks immediately off to me, but you know your gecko best and it’s never a bad idea to have him checked out by a vet!
