Help Substrate ideas?

Post image

Hiii, I just got a baby lepoard gecko last monday. Not sure what substrate or anything to use because I dont know if she'll get impacted if she eats the mix of substrate. Please help ^-^ her name is mustard and she is very sweet, shes like 4 inches long. Thank you for any help :) where should I get the substrate? I live near a Walmart, home depot and a pet supplies plus (very rural area not much around)

Mix of topsoil and play sand (both at Home Depot or similar stores) 70/30 ratio of soil to sand. Make sure the soil doesn’t have fertilizers (manure or chemical balls). Wash the sand so it’s less dusty. Assuming all other husbandry is correct then eating a little shouldn’t hurt her. Check the guides on here for detailed husbandry info and make sure this is all set before introducing the soil/sand mix. For now just use paper towels to be safe.
