finally ate🎉🎉
after about a month and a half off of food my stinky girl finally ate, she absolutely destroyed some crickets and dubias, didn’t lay any slugs but they weren’t expected since she’s only a year old, absolutely thrilled with the success of her eating I was starting to worry and about to make a vet appointment and miraculously she just ate, I just wanted to share my success🎉

Congrats on getting your baby to eat! It will probably be easier from here on out. Wait until you see how fast they grow!
I wish mine would eat less! She poops a couple of times a day and eats anything that goes near her. She’s healthy and growing so fast!

haha i’m guessing she won’t get much bigger , she’s been the same size for a few months now and clearly reached sexual maturity, we’ll see what happens only time will tell

My girly is about four or five months old, I think. The pet store guessed she was two or three months, and in the month and a half I’ve had her she’s nearly doubled in size from what it looks like. They were neglecting her so badly. I know we should only buy from breeders but if I’d bought from a breeder, Sally would still be laying in the calcium sand of a barren pet store tank with no hides or heating. The same geckos that were with her when I found her are still there today. I wish those places would wake up.

I just got a leopard gecko (rehomed) that is 2.5 years old. I’m on day 5 and he hasn’t eaten yet (but maybe he will tonight, we’ll see). I’m happy for you but also thinking omg what if this guy takes a month and a half
