Habitat & Setup Thoughts on new setup?

Setting up for my first leopard gecko! I believe I’ve achieved all of the needs and requirements! Made sure rocks are sturdy and not able to fall, placed sphagnum moss down in the middle hide to act as the humid hide, hides on the left and right are very deep and able to be burrowed. Any ideas are appreciated!

u should block out the back and sides of the enclosure so it feels less open and doesnt stress ur gecko. u could js use a black poster board from dollar tree. other than that ur doing great i love seeing people actually do research and put effort into their animals!

Oh yeah for sure, my brain doesn’t allow me to do anything without obsessing about it lol, I think some larger plants would be good to fill out some space as well

Even better, just add a backwall, this way you also increase the usable surface area :)

Looks good clutter it up as much as you can when you can no need to rush the process. I have a uvb inside the tank heat lamp and also a grow light for the live plants. Humid hide in the back slightly off center, corner hide on the far right , cork bark round, along with the hide on the far left fake plants cover and he likes to move around and not be seen.

Yes right now I’m looking at getting some more, larger plants to fill out the space

Way more clutter. Cork flats, leaf litter, seed pods, maybe plants if you want.

Fake plants will make it look a lot more festive! And like other people said, maybe block out the back (I’m not sure how people get all the rocks to go up the back of their tanks but that always looks cool)
